How do your travel surcharges work?

We have two travel zones; Green and Red, which are outlined on the map below.

Addresses within the Green zone don’t pay any travel surcharge

Addresses in the Red zone are subject to a travel surcharge on top of the booking and are charged at £0.50 per return mile, minus £5, from postcode ME20 7.

  • If you are in Essex or north of the River Thames, Dart charge will be added to the surcharge (currently £6)
  • If you live within a ULEZ and or Congestion charge zone within London, the charges for either or both will be added to the surcharge

For example, if your address is 40 miles from the ME20 7 postcode, we would calculate the surcharge to be as follows: £0.50 x 40 = £20. Minus £5, = £15 surcharge.

Calculate your travel surcharge here by entering the number of miles from your address to postcode ME20 7 (This only applies if you are within the Red Zone coverage area)

We do not currently cover any areas outside of the Red zone
